"We stayed here 2 years ago and it was a bit dated but clean. This time, new ownership and updated room and lobby---very tasteful and inviting! The host was very accommodating, breakfast items tasty and the room was wonderful--comfortable bed, pillows, new bathroom remodel---highly recommend this to anyone visiting Buffalo!"

"It delivered as promised. It's not a luxury hotel, so expectations need to be realistic. But it got the job done. It's clean. Mattresses are good. And I will say that the pillows are outstanding. I stayed at three top-of-the-line luxury hotels in Europe last month, and the pillows here are far better than any of those three places. For breakfast, they're getting the basics out, and you're eating with plastic utensils off paper plates."

"Disappointed in our stay. The photos and overall reviews persuaded us to book but we were immediately regretful. Underwhelming lobby, just 2 tables against a hallway wall for "breakfast included", and the room looked like it needed to be redone. The plank flooring was "gritty", the sheets were limp and the pillows lumpy. The bathtub needed replacing. Would rate this accommodation a 2 star at most."

I believe her name is Danette, but I might be wrong. She was friendly, even let us check out the room before completing the booking (she took us upstairs and we liked and kept the room). "We stayed two nights, but the room was not cleaned nor were the beds made up after the first night. This is the first hotel where I have stayed multiple nights where the rooms were not cleaned and beds not made up after the first night. A cleaned room and made-up beds should have been part of the deal for the amount of money we paid. In addition, the pool was out of order as was the TV on the first night of our stay."
