"When you flush the toilet in bathroom it makes a horrible loud noise. Info on apartment states it has washer and dryer - it does not. It has a washer and a hanging rack. There was still food in fridge and cabinets, was only given 2 towels for 4 people. Beds are close to floor and are horrible. No roller paper in one of the bathrooms. I truly wanted to walk out. "

"What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine."

"The owners were so sweet, very informative about area and places to eat nearby, the room was so clean, heater worked great, bed was so comfortable, water pressure excellent and those towels were like blankets, the breakfast was menu with lots of choices including the full Scottish breakfast as an option, tea was great, coffee was wonderful, location was on a working farm it was the best stay thus far on our roadtrip thru Scotland, would definitely stay again!!!!"

"Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. "

"Ardoe House is a beautiful property, very much in keeping with it's history as a baronial mansion. The decor is lavish and made us all feel very posh! The rooms are very well appointed and clean. The bed was the most comfortable bed we had in our two weeks of travel, and the dining options were great. The included breakfast buffet was delicious and had so much on offer, it was hard to decide - luckily there was haggis!! The staff were all incredibly friendly and lovely to deal with. I...
