Difficult to find don't use satnav but worth it as the scenery and grounds are lovely. A beautiful part of the country. The owner Eileen was very friendly and helpful re local knowledge etc.

I stayed here with one of my good friends for a weekend of walking and heritage visits. It was wonderfully quiet and remote, but quite near to lots of great parts of that area of Somerset, including being able to walk from the B&B across the hills to Montacute House. The owner couldn’t do enough for us, and the rooms were super clean, comfortable and had everything you could need. Breakfasts were also delicious, with the nicest scrabbled eggs/smoked salmon combination I have ever had. One very small word of caution: if you have a sports car or low-profile tyres, the lane to the property would be a bit of a challenge!
