"The room was very well set up with microwave and fridges, and cutlery, crockery for 3. Also a small table with chairs so very easy to organise your own breakfast. Blackout curtains were excellent but a Venetian on the car parks ideal let in a lit of light from the very well lit carpark. Overall comfort was slightly diminished for a light sensitive sleeper."

"Great value hotel in a lovely location with views over Newcastle harbour. Very modern vibe with great tech features in the room. Breakfast at the Monte cafe was excellent. Would recommend for a short stay in Newcastle. Only negative for us was the beds were too soft and air con quite loud, so had to turn off to sleep. Otherwise excellent. "

"The standard of the house keeping was poor, the floors/carpet were not cleaned properly, towel were the smallest I have ever seen in a in anything other than a 3 star hotel, our bedding was not changed during the 4 night stay. Despite booking a bed and breakfast package and a booking confirmation that said "free breakfast" and being given a 2 for one coffee voucher valid for the 4 days, when I went to check our they tried to charge me for anything other than one coffee or tea at breakfast and...

"Room did not meet the photos at all! The fridge was off therefore no milk to make a beverages. The manager was excellent and dining staff were very friendly and helpful, our meal was good quality."

"The Crystalbrook in Newcastle was a pleasant stay for a weekend. The rooftop bar was great, though very busy and they weren't wrong - you need to book for dinner! The room was great, everything is fairly new so it was clean and not worn out. Location is walkable to lots of local attractions, Darby St and the waterfront are all walkable if you're able to. "

"We had the one bedroom apartment which is absolutely huge. It has two outdoor seating areas on opposite sides of the unit. Access to your unit, the building, and the garage are all a single code to remember. The elevator is quick, though there are only 3 levels (garage, lobby, rooms). The one bedroom apartments are strange in that you have to enter the code at two different entry doors before heading up a staircase to reach your living space. The rewards of the living space more than offset...

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Contacted about getting an extra towel and it arrived within minutes. Great location easy to get around the city. They are upgrading their rooms ours was not updated yet, downfall was the bathroom. Shower was in the bath and very small, mould in the shower curtain and grout all coming away. But that should all be fixed with updating. Felt a bit expensive for an outdated room. "
