The hotel is absolutely top tier but…quite overpriced. Spending upwards of 1600kr a night on a room with no windows and no regular cleaning seems a touch steep. Many hotels seem to have done away with daily cleaning of rooms, but still charge premium prices which is exploitative to their customer base. That said, there were positives. The staff are amazing, breakfast is good and location is unmatched.

The service exceeded my expectations. The staff was very professional and friendly. Big shout-out to Annie and Sofia. They are very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The gym and sauna weee clean. The location is excellent. Highly recommend!

The hotel was perfect for our family of four including two teenage girls. The hotel gave us two linked rooms as we requested, which were separated by a door that could be closed if necessary. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. The hotel was located in a relatively quiet area but with plenty of restaurants and shops just around the corner. Would highly recommend Scandic Anglais and will stay again ourselves.

Great 4-day stay. Walking distance to start of marathon, city centre for shops and restaurants and central station. Great choice at breakfast and staff (reception in particular) couldnt be friendlier.

Great location and amazing breakfast
Fantastic location, friendly staff and a huge variety at the breakfast buffet (which was included in the price). The room was quiet with a nice city view and, even though it was tiny, comfortable and well-planned to accommodate 2 smaller suitcases.

Located in city centre so you are located around the city attractions as well as easy transport routes. Staff are extremely friendly as well and nice bar and food was amazing as well. Nice little gym hub for those who want a workout also. Will definitely use this hotel again when I go back Sweden.
