"a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended."

"Hotel was under renovation and their was a fault on the fire alarm panel both mornings which didn't make the stay feel all that safe with the major renovations going on. Their was no curtains over the window you could clearly see where the pole was taken out the extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom so the window was constantly open and didn't look like it could close. "The hotel was a lovely town house in a great part of the West End; perfect for exploring the University of Glasgow, Kelvingrove Park, the Botanical Gardens, the shops and restaurants on Byres Road and Ashton Lane and Great Western Road. Only a 10 minute walk from Hillhead Subway, so an easy route from Glasgow Central.
