"My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was an amazing experience. The resort is right on the San Marcos River, a prime spot to float and enjoy the water. The pool is awesome and the bar is full service. The service from the staff as well as Max and Mel was phenomenal and second to none. The cabin was nice and had every amenity imaginable. While speaking with Max, the future plans of the resort made us excited to return in the future. We for sure will be coming back!"

"The staff was amazing, from the office to housekeeping, all were courteous, friendly, and always eager to assist. The Kyle from was ideal, rustic, but with every possible amenities one could think of. The surrounding nature and quietness was absolutely gorgeous. I enjoyed so much peace. The dining experience was my least favorite, this time. Breakfast was good, but dinner was not pleasing to the palate, at least not for my husband and me. "Everything at the hotel was great. The only complaint I have is that hotels.com lists this hotel as having a hot tub. It does not. They do not list a hot tub on Hampton's website. Hotels.com needs to correct this. I paid a premium price to stay there expecting a hot tub."

"Easy check in, cold AC, comfortable bed, and fairly quiet location. Easy walk to the square, bars, and restaurants. Parking for a large vehicle might be a challenge. Loved the decor and style of the unit. Very comfortable place to stay overall. Bathroom is a bit dark and could use a better lighting. Overall, this was a fantastic stay in a great location. Super clean! "
