sentrumsnært og greit

Sentrumsnært greit hotell hvis du skal på Kjerag eller Prekestolen. Litt mye såperester i dusjen tyder på litt dårlig renhold.

Close to Stavanger and Preikestolen, Two minute walk to the Central station. Very helpful laidies at the reception. Kitchen, wash machine and drier. Would stay again.

Everything is very good about Sandnes Vandrerhjem except the parking. It was advertised that Sandnes has free parking. It does have 6 or 7 parking spots that were quickly taken. And no chance to park for the other visitors. It should be advertised as "Very limited free parking".

No reception staff available in the evenings, if you do late check-in. Great option - tea and cofee making facilities in reception and computer with internet connection in the lobby. Pillows were to small.

Nos dejaron tirados en la calle

Teníamos reserva hecha y pagada, pero al llegar al hotel (dentro del horario y habiendo avisado de la hora de llegada unos días antes por email) no había nadie para atendernos y, llamando, nos dijeron que no les constaba nuestra reserva y que tenían lleno, por lo que no podían hacer nada por nosotros, así que nos dejaron tirados en la calle en plena noche.

Great place for a good price.

It's a great hotel for the money. If you're planning on staying in Stavanger, and all the hotels are too pricey, this is a good option. It's a 4 minute walk to the train station, where a train leaves from Stavanger almost every ten minutes. The rooms are perfunctory but clean with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The breakfast is also a step above average and something we looked forward to every morning.

Varmt og innestengt rom. Dårlig ventilasjon og måtte ligge med åpne vindu hele natten pga tung luft og varmt. God frokost, men på tide med noe nytt der også. Har vært ganske likt dem siste 5-6 årene. Ellers ett koselig opphold, kort vei til det meste og rolig og behagelig.

Selve rommet og lokasjon var helt greit, men unødvendig å ha nødlys som lyser opp hele rommet. Første natt fikk jeg ikke sove på grunn av dette, og andre natt måtte jeg opp i gardintrapp for å henge søppelposer over lysene.

Great option for group travel

This hotel is perfect for group travel. Really good kitchen facilities. Reasonable rate, although some of the rooms are a bit small. Breakfast was great too with good variety of choices.

Great value for money

The hotel was very clean and tidy. Staff are exceptional and very accommodating. Great kitchen facilities with proper hobs, oven, dishwashers and plenty of plates and cutleries. The only slight downside is that the beds are too soft and narrow.

Mixed toilets and showers

This was the strangest hostel experience. It is a hotel full of business men and women and then just one giant dorm full of beds. It is mixed dorm and shared bathrooms! Not a private women’s or men’s stall, just a shared bathroom with two stalls. Same with showers, shared shower room with two see through shower stalls. As a female, this made me very uncomfortable! Great breakfast though.

Excellent hostel

Absolutely amazing! The bed was SUPER comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the neighborhood quiet yet convenient. Service was good and the bathrooms quite nice. Would recommend to anyone for a stay in Stavanger/Sandnes.
