"Good food, friendly staff, nice view"

"It is a new hotel!! The property was very clean and staff was accommodating. I do have an issue and recommendations . Although I had prepaid for the room, I was not notified of the additional $50 hold for incidentals until we got there to check-in. Another issue that may get worked out once open longer is, I’ve never been to a hotel that doesn’t keep coffee or tea out after breakfast is over. They had literally just put a fresh canister of coffee out around 9:45, and came back and collected it...

"Plenty of parking. Check in staff was friendly. The room could have been cleaner. The jetted tub was dirty so I had to clean it before we used it. The doors and walls were dirty. Lots of options for breakfast. Overall not bad but would like a cleaner room"

"The room and hotel was clean. The decor was “generic”. The rooftop bar and restaurant was very good. The blackout shades were good. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were very hard. The breakfast was subpar. The AC fan was a bit noisy all night. There was a fire alarm unit in the ceiling that flashed white lights all night. It kept me up."

"Loved our stay at Hillside. Super clean room and a relaxing setting. Loved sitting outside in the morning and evening. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Will definitely return."

"When we arrived we were upgraded to a larger room, with a lovely view, so it was a good start. I liked the reception area, with the cosy seating area, board games, rocking chairs, and seats out on the veranda. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the meal was quite good, especially the blueberry ice cream cake . Our room was acceptable but on closer inspection could have done with a good clean. Our breakfast in the restaurant was very poor. The coffee arrived in a very dirty looking cup...

"The inn was a great place to stay. Our room was spacious and had a good view. Staff were helpful. Dinner in the speakeasy was delicious. The only disappointment was breakfast where the service was awful. We hadn’t ordered after 30 mins despite a very empty restaurant so we left and had breakfast at a cafe in town"

"This is an older style motel. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed, small bathroom, air conditioning was not up to par, conveniently located close to caverns. coffee makes available upon request."
