"We had a lovely stay at The Ship Inn. The room was really clean, bright and comfortable and plenty of space to relax in. Nice to have good quality coffee and tea facilities in the room and reasonably priced items on offer in room if you wanted it. Loved the roomy shower in the bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful (helped find a taxi). Food in the bar was excellent, and the main menu looked great (we will try next time). "Very nice stay! Breakfast was good. The lobby/bar area was really cool! Room was comfortable and the towels were a great student, 2 problems the extraction fan was not working and the towel warming rack was not working. Close the train station. Parking was plentiful. Located right next to the Mick Jagger and Keith Richards Glitter Twins Statue, fun fact Dartford is the childhood home for both of them! "

"Lovely old pub right next to Chelmsford rail and bus stations. Very welcoming bar staff. Rooms are really nicely decorated with tea and coffee making and separate secure access. Really great value and centrally located for all Chelmsford has to offer. "
