"The hotel reception staff were very welcoming on our arrival. Our room was very clean and had air conditioning, a wardrobe with plenty of hangers, desk, two chairs and a small table as well as bedside tables. The lighting was good with various settings. A lovely shower room with rainfall and handheld showers and fluffy towels, hand wash and lotion by the basin as well as an electric toothbrush/ shaver charger. In the shower cubicle body wash, shampoo and conditioner were provided, all the products are suitable for vegans to use. The breakfast was very good with both continental and cooked food, vegan and gluten free options and lovely coffee/tea and fruit juices. The waiting staff were very attentive and polite. We stayed 2 nights here and would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Rooms are fine but could use a bit of freshening. Our bed was comfortable and the location was quiet. The continental breakfast was a huge disappointment. Several things were not available and what was served was just okay. The front desk staff are superior and they were very helpful with any questions we asked. The location makes this hotel a wonderful choice but don’t expect great food."

"It was basic but it has everything we needed for the trip. We went to see family and celebrate my in-law birthday at the Canterburry bell last September 19th. It was a great celebration abd we are considering going back with the kids for the Christmas holidays."
