Excellent service—Mary and Shakil are both very diligent and courteous. The room was perfectly clean and well-appointed. The property overall is beautiful. The dinner was delightful. On top of all of this, Mr. Hopkin, the proprietor, was quite gracious and went above and beyond in assisting me with a time-sensitive matter. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and look forward to returning.
We've just returned from a stay at Blue Horizons Beach Resort. It's a beautiful resort and difficult to find any criticism of it. Without exception the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Although not situated directly on the beach it is only a couple of minutes walk. Staying there rather than an all inclusive meant we made far more use of the surrounding areas. We would definitely stay there again if we visit the island again.
Nice rooms with a bedroom and a separate living room with TV.
5 min walk to a beach which has decent drink/food areas. The Umbrella bar is the pick with great food and cocktail options at very affordable prices.
Would recommend the local bus (#1) to St George's town, costs about 1 USD.
Staff are wonderful and the owner introduces himself to all guests.
Hotel food is a little on the expensive side.

Blue Horizons Garden Resort is a quiet, low-key place to stay about 5 minutes easy walk to the stunning Grand Anse beach. The resort itself comprises high quality lodges (or studio rooms) set in beautiful and immaculately maintained gardens. It is a tropical mini-paradise complete with birds, small lizards……oh, and a good-sized swimming pool and outside bar/restaurant. Our lodge was at the top of the resort looking out over the gardens and sea. It was spacious, with quality furnishings, and an outside private balcony with a small table and chairs. It was also spotlessly clean – maintained everyday by the room service. The kitchen area was well equipped, although the kitchen ware itself (plates, pains, cutlery…) was on the minimal side. If you intend to do a lot of self-catering (….we absolutely didn’t!), you cold be a little frustrated. Over our full week, the staff were as helpful as you could possibly want. Plus, a shout-put to the owner who welcomed us on arrival, compete with welcome drinks. What’s not to like about that!!! In summary, it’s a great place for a relaxed chill-out in Grenada.

Overall, the property was very pretty and well kept and well maintained. Everyone was very helpful. The staff was very good. My room on the other hand is another story. I found one of the windows did not lock in the room and I’m a solo traveler so I had to put one of my sticks in the window just in case somebody wanted to come in. As I said, I’m a solo Travel the safety is important to me. I felt the air conditioning was not strong enough. It took all day to cool down on my first night there so I left it running all day long with the fan the next day. Also, the TV was so tiny, and I struggled to get it working and I had to have the lady come to my room because it had two remotes and it still had bad service on it. The sound was bad and it was very small.
I ordered in the dining hall at the pool saffron chicken. That was one of the worst overpriced meal I ever had. I couldn’t even eat it. The chicken was super dry and rubbery. I have no idea where they found that meat.
We prefer ‘room only’ accommodation so that we can eat when and where we choose, and experience the local cuisine and culture. Blue Horizons rooms have a kitchen equipped with a fridge/freezer, cooker/oven, pots and pans and a toaster, so it is possible to prepare your own meals if you prefer. It is only a short walk to the supermarket where most food items are available.
The gardens are beautifully taken care of and there is an abundance of different trees, plants and shrubs with a variety of flowers, scents and colour.
There is a well maintained swimming pool with loungers and an adjacent bar and restaurant. If you prefer the sea and sand, it is close to the famous Grand Anse beach or slightly further away is the BBC beach.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful, and always greet you with a friendly wave or conversation.
Blue Horizons is an eco resort, so they take care to save water and they harness the abundant sunshine through solar panels to provide the hot water for the rooms.
Some of the fixtures and fittings are a bit tired and worn but the resort is gradually and constantly upgrading and improving. Nevertheless, this is one of our favourite holiday destinations and we are very likely to return.
Everything was good, but only thing I believe they can be added is utensils to heat up food properly as they are going green so there is no microwave. Everything is within walking distance.
Fantastic family run accommodation near to the best beach on the island. Spacious rooms and welcoming staff. Set in beautiful gardens with nice pool area.
