"Nice"

"I have stayed here several times over the past two years. Always had an exceptional experience until this time. I went to check in at 1 and told them I didn't care if my room was ready. I just wanted to swim in the pool. I have done this same routine every time. The desk clerk was very snotty. "Check-in isn't until 4. We have an early check-in fee." I apologized and told her that her I wasn't aware of the new policy. "You need to come back at four!" I came back at 430 and had six people in line ahead of me, with only one desk clerk. Took me 25 minutes to check in! Yesterday morning, at 9 am, (checkout is at 11) Housekeeping knocked on my door. The woman barely spoke English and asked, "You leave when?" I understand people want to plan, but that isn't the right way to handle either situation! A little politeness goes a long way. After that experience, I am reconsidering my next planned stay there. Politeness would have gone a long way. "

"The staff were very friendly and accommodating. If we had an issue with something, it was taken care of right away. The food was fresh as well. We loved the kitchen set-up in our own hotel room, especially the refrigerator."

"Plenty of parking and good location. This hotel is in desperate need of some tlc! Shower nozzle broken, tv difficulties, peeling ‘popcorn’ ceiling above sleeping area, sticky carpet, washer/dryer out of order, blah & repetitive breakfast with no fruit. Staff attempted to help but fell short. Upgraded us to a ‘suite’ that was cleaner but still a sad attempt at an upgrade. Would not recommend this hotel until it undergoes a full renovation."
