"Villa Mary is a delightful recently renovated boutique hotel..a real find. Mary is a welcoming hostess and our room and bathroom were comfortable. A kitchenette adjoined our room where we could make coffee and relax. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station and a 10-15 minute walk to town. The neighborhood was quiet."

"This is a super charming small hotel (10 rooms) in a quiet area of Amboise yet still just a few blocks from the Palace and other great sites. The staff is OUTSTANDING. Jean Jacques the owner greeted us at check in with an employee named Angel. He recently purchased the hotel and Angel joined his team this week. He obviously cares deeply about the place and makes sure you have everything you need. When he is not there Angel was terrific. She also cared about everything that happens at the hotel. I would give this place the highest rating on any scale. The only place to stay in Amboise. "

"Quaint and personal B&B. Erika was lovely. Room was clean. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Got a bit hot as there is no AC, but Erika dropped off a fan. Breakfast was simple but great, and left for the day with a full belly. No coffee in the room, but a kettle and tea. Bought some instant to keep in the room. Would go back for sure."

"The property itself was absolutely beautiful. Marianne welcomed us and did everything to ensure a comfortable staff. The room was well appointed and room service excellent. We thought the breakfast was disappointing mostly due to the service of a staff member who also checked is the next day whilst speaking on the phone the entire time. We highly recommend the hotel to Others and hope he will be thoughtful"
