"The property was great. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The everyday greetings: good morning, good afternoon, etc were pleasant. One thing, I didn’t like was the sewer smell from almost dried “creek”, on the property. Still absolutely beautiful; beaches and comfortable beds, the people! "
"We loved everything about this little resort tucked onto the "wild" side of the island. Our bungalow was beachside and very clean and comfortable with a great view. The food and drink was excellent and plentiful! And last, but not least, the staff! Nakitha, Dona, Kavina, Kerryann, Shaquira, Rena, Breanna, Abigail, Michelle, Erin(and all of housekeeping) chefs Richardo, Denson(and the whole kitchen staff) and of course Philip and our "gentle hike" leader Tanya. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Hope we remembered everyone and keep that library under control! We hope to return next year. Absolutely loved it!"
"We stayed in a 2BR villa with our three kids in late March/early April and had a wonderful experience. The villa was spacious and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a large patio offering sweeping beach views. Daily cookies and bottled water were a great touch. Wi-Fi was very strong and reliable throughout our stay.
The beach was the highlight—clean, uncrowded, and full of activities like volleyball, cornhole, and shuffleboard to keep the kids entertained. The resort is very kid-friendly, though please note it is built on a steep hill, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility challenges.
Dining was high quality, particularly the Friday BBQ steak. Service is on a relaxed "island time" schedule, so breakfast is a bit slow but enjoyable. Communication via WhatsApp was incredibly efficient for shuttles and requests. The resort was very quiet and peaceful, though be prepared for the vibrant sounds of local birds and wildlife—it adds to the tropical charm."
"Stayed from Mar 28th to Apr 3rd 2026. Arrived at 10am and was allowed to check in early (regular check in was 3pm).
Property is dated but well maintained. Pool and direct access to Grand Anse beach was a definite plus. Use of beach chairs included. Only concern was the lack of on site restaurant (expedia said there was).
However, site is walking distance to KFC and Spiceland mall so food was not a major concern."
"Wonderful stay in the 3BD/3Ba poolside villa. HUGE rooms with ample space and unlimited seating options. The grounds and property were beautiful and garden-like. The pools were well maintained and refreshing. The rooftop pool was especially a treat after a long beach day, and has a really beautiful view.
The owner Sharon was very friendly and communicative. The groundskeeper was also very pleasant and helpful. We loved the area we chose to stay in and with our car rental it was very conveniently located to our most visited areas. Without a car it would not be possible to walk for any dining/groceries as it is deep in from the main road and extremely hilly, so we were very glad to have rented.
The nearby beaches of Grande Anse and BBC were phenomenal, and Sharon provides ample beach/pool towels in the room which is helpful.
I would definitely return to the property and look forward to seeing it with all the finishing touches. Some work was not yet completed (unpaved driveway, pool bar/kitchen not open) but it did not disrupt or affect our stay.
Reef View Villas was a lovely unique slice of solitude with fun architecture and everything we needed while on holiday as a family."
"The staff at the Siesta Hotel couldn’t be nicer. They were very accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room could use some attention when it comes to comfort. A desk lamp, lounge chair with a reading lamp, a luggage rack, a shelf in the bathroom and over the refrigerator to hold dishes and silverware, coffee pot and cups and glasses would have made it more comfortable. A little more attention to the decor would have made the room more inviting. Providing toiletries such as lotion and body wash would have been appreciated. While the room was situated with a beautiful view, these suggestions would have enhanced the experience."
"I loved the location! Perfect for solo travels and not needing much in the hotel. I was constantly busy and was not in the room long mostly to sleep and get ready. I thought the room was ver spacious and the staff were all so friendly! The beach is right across the street. "
"La Sagesse is an incredible boutique resort. The property is beautiful. La Sagesse bay is the perfect location to swim, kayak or just relax for the day. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The restaurant on site is amazing. The staff, namely Sammy and John, are wonderful and go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. The owners, Mike and Lynn, make a point to meet their guests and share their local knowledge and insight. I highly recommend booking here if you don’t want the crowds and need a place to truly relax.
