"The staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The hotel has a very tranquil feel and is tucked into a quiet street, but it is still very close and walkable to everything you need. They have an afternoon tea time with snacks which is nice when you’re hanging by the pool. The pool was a nice temperature so I think they heat it slightly (I went in March) - I had heard other travellers say the pools at their hotel were too cold to swim in. The exercise room is minimal but they have dumbbells up to 10 kgs each and a basic weight machine and a few cardio machines. The included breakfast was nice with a lot of options. Overall if I ever went back to Chiang Mai I would definitely stay here again. "

"This hotel was in a great location, tucked away down a side street in the old town. Easy to walk to restaurants, temples, markets etc. Our room was comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the pool area. The pool area was quite small and shaded by trees. We didn’t use it during our stay because we were doing other things. Breakfast was ok."

"Great location in the center of the Old Town. We booked a balcony room overlooking Wat Phra Singh which I would recommend because many rooms face interior courtyards. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is excellent."

"Great hotel! With great attention to details. The staff is super friendly and kind. Well located, you can walk from the hotel to the old town without taking a taxi. Bedroom is lovely and wide, so is the bathroom! Breakfast is great too, a lot of choice. The pool area is nice but the water a little bit cold. We really enjoyed our stay at The Rim resort "

"No idea how this hotel got a 9.2 rating other than how centrally located it is in the old city. First room was musty and had no windows, paid 500 baht a night on site for upgrade, the next room was better but bed was like sleeping on sheet of plywood. I prepaid 2 night but only stayed for 1. There isn’t anything truly wrong with the hotel but it wasn’t for me, for the price it is what it is. Cost me more than double to move hotels but for my personal comfort it was worth it. I felt the rating it has on Expedia isn’t accurate. I spend a lot of time in hotels, it has to be exceptional to be a 9.2. The staff were nice though and tried to Accommodate us. My friend stayed 2 more nights."
