"What a lovely property! I love the innovative way this hotel presents itself. The lobby design is open and well lit. The food bar is easy to approach at each station. I loved the round area for plates, utensils, cereals, etc. Coffee is the BEST! Rooms are great—beds, bathroom (love the walk-in shower), blinds (wow). We stayed three night while in area for a wedding. I’ll look for Avids on future trips. "

"Of the many many hotels I've been to, this is one of the worse. Check in quick and easy. First room we were sent to had no lights, door tore off a dresser. Second room had lights. Furniture looked like war surplus. Mattress on one bed had collapsed springs on one side, making it easy to fall out of. Lot of electrical outlets didnt work. TV remote stopped working the second day. No one ever did any housekeeping in the 3 days there. No trash pickup. Breakfast was like everything...

"Nice stay, clean room, comfy bed, building very well maintained, plenty parking spaces. Beautiful sunset views from across the street. The only thing I didn’t like is the room we got was facing the parking lot with a view of the water blocked by a tree, we told the front desk about it, but weren’t offered to move even though the hotel wasn’t fully booked. Restaurant next door is a plus"

"Very beautiful Inn. The rooms are very clean and quiet. There are lots of sitting areas on the property, and a pier that you can walk out on to view the bay. The breakfast was wonderful. There is a small bar downstairs, but we weren't sure if it was in operation. The check-in was a bit awkward. Hotels.com had listed that I would receive an email from the Inn within 5 days of my reservation. I never received an email from the Inn, so I emailed them and didn't hear back.
