"We loved our stay at Elsa's inn. The breakfast was amazing and we learned so much about the history of the area from the host. Location was unbeatable. We went to a nearby lookout to watch the sunrise and it was stunning and not crowded like the places right by Bar Harbor. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip around Maine!"

"Need curtains so the sun doesn't wake you at 4 am. My tub and sinker were backed up. You would think the cleaning people would have noticed and had it corrected before the next guest arrived. Grounds were not run down but room was clean."

"Very nice place to stay. That was near Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was far enough away that it was nice and quiet yet close enough to the park for easy access. Lady manager was very very nice. The place was clean pretty and well kept. We would definitely stay here again."

"I expected a better place for the amount of money we paid per night but I guess Bar Harbor is a very expensive destination. The room was ok. The shower head was broken and there was no hair dryer. Both issues were taken care right away. It was nice that they offered complementary snacks and drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Easy 10’ walk to restaurants and waterfront"

"We love the staff at the property!!! Michelle at the front desk made us feel like part of the family. She made sure our every needs were fulfilled and always went out of her way to help us. Dannette is the encyclopedia of the area. She shared her knowledge of the surrounding harbors and we loved all the places off the beaten path she recommended. We normally wouldn’t stay at a motel, but we had a hard time to say goodbye at Anchorage Motel!"
