Nice hotel, easy check in, good price quality ratio. Some car noise prevented good sleep. OK location, there's a big shop centre nearby.

The hotel has no reception personnel. To enter the building from the garage, or the main entrance, you need to have a 4 digit code that should be included in the booking confirmation - this code did not come with the confirmation from expedia. The telephone at the keypad from the garage had its cord ripped out of the wall, so it was not usuable to gain entry. Once inside, you had to check-in at a terminal that required the booking code. The expedia booking code did not work. All personal information entered at time of booking had to be re-entered in order to prepare a key. Check-out at the terminal did not function. Aside from all of these difficulties, the room was ok. very basic, but comfortable bed, and good functioning shower.

I booked through hotels.com and paid the full amount in advance. However, upon check-in, I was asked to pay again and was unable to access my room, so I had no choice but to pay once more. This constitutes a double payment.

Since there was no on site management we were unable to check out the room before paying for it. Upon entry to room the smell of cigarette smoke was unbearbly strong. Hair on sheets, vinyl floor chipped in hallway and room, dirty walls. We immediately called management to adk for a refund and they refused. We left and found another motel down the road. Travelers beware!

Best to avoid this bare-bones hotel

A very basic hotel near Zurich. Absolutely bare-bones furnishing (with not even a glass in the bathroom or bedroom!). The hotel bed was rather uncomfortable...making a good night's sleep difficult as well. Suitable only for highly price-conscious travelers for 1 or 2 nights. Further, the hotel seems to have very poor systems. At every step of check-in and check-out, they wanted me to pay City tax extra, which had already been paid at the time of booking. I had to call their Helpline every time to explain and then they would let me proceed.

Das Haus selbst entsprach komplett den Erwartungen bzgl. Einrichtung. Die Buchungstechnik des Hauses funktionierte nicht mit der bereits bezahlten Expedia Rechnung. Um überhaupt ohne Rezeption einchecken zu können, musste nochmals das Zimmer bezahlt werden. Ja, es gab eine zügige Rückvergütung des bezahlten Betrages, dennoch war dies sehr befremdlich. Dazu kam, dass der Preis dann fast 20% tiefer war! Die Antworten der Rezeptionsmitarbeiter war funktional korrekt.

数年ぶりに宿泊しましたが、最近流行りの省人化でスタッフが不在。チェックイン時にやや戸惑い、インターフォンで問い合わせる始末。部屋までの部屋番号表示が廊下に無く重たい荷物を持って右往左往。 レストランまで無くなっている。 スタッフがいなくなった途端に治安、客層が悪くなった。

Entsprach nicht den Bildern bei Expedia. Kein Restaurant, keine Kegelbahn, keine Sauna, keine Frühstücksauswahl zu kaufen. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer, diese waren komplett unterschiedlich. Fliesen z.t. kaputt, Toilettenspülung defekt. Mehrfache Anmeldung notwendig, checkout funktionierte nicht. Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen.

Saubere Zimmer, aber anders als früher

Wir waren schon öfter im Hotel Arte. Früher hatte es noch eine kleine Sauna und eine Reception mit persönlichem Empfang, welches wir sehr schätzten. Wir erhielten einen falschen Türcode zugestellt. Das Problem konnte aber dank telefonischem Support schnell gelöst werden. Die Zimmet sind sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Wir vermissten das gute Restaurant. Das gibt es auch nicht mehr, Schade!

Horrible experience

Check-in automate was broken, nobody on site. Had to work with staff by phone to even get room keys including rebooting the check-in automate. In the aftermath I ended up getting charged twice for the stay because of this and hotel refused to reimburse, claiming that it is just a hold while it is clearly a double booking. Worst experience. I would strongly recommend to avoid this place. Hotel provides ear plugs as it is so loud from traffic that sleeping without is impossible.

Self check-in hotel

Hotel is self-checkin. Parking is outside in the public street in front of hotel but with reserved places. Internet is good. Room has a small radiator. If you put in the machine reservation number from Hotels it do not work only with scan ID. Room was large and clean and quite good price, but would be perfect to be also breakfast included. Bed was not confortable.

Free covered car parking, Clean room and Low price. There was a reason of low price. There are no staff at the hotel.　 ebooker noticed an e-mail about the check in procedure will be sent me. but, it was nothing. We arrived the hotel, and started the check in by a machine. but, we could not get the room key, even we got a support by emergency call. Finally, a guy sent a staff to the hotel. but guy said it will take a hour. During waiting a staff, I tried to check in by the machine. I might do more than 10 times, the room key was come out. I took more than 2 hours to get in the room from arraving the hotel.
