Expedia provided a virtual card for hotel to charge. When I checked in, there were many guests (seem like drug addicts) came in and only pay cash and no deposits. The front desk guys probably want to pocket them and charge my reservation multiple times. They charged Expedia card once and tried to do a lot more times but thankfully it was decline. Then they told me to call Expedia to get it resolved. I called and called and it wasn’t getting anywhere and I was late for work. The check-in process should be no more than 5 minutes end up being 1.5 hours but still wasn’t resolved so I head off to work late, came back and still not resolved. I call Expedia and Expedia called the motel and THANK GOD, it was a new front desk person and he seems to know what he’s doing and very intellectually good at his job and fixed it in seconds.
During my stay, the second day, I woke up with unexplained bug bite marks that left me bruised in spots. I saw a bug on my towel and instantly scare and noticed where the bites came from. I tried to explain to Riz but they ignored me. I went out to buy bug spray to spray around the bed and still had bugs and cockroaches on my bed. I couldn’t sleep in the bed and end up sleeping on the chair near the A/C hoping they would stay away from the cold.
Overall, I wouldn’t stay here ever again. No pool, no coffee maker to make hot water, no microwave, no fridge. I was on a travel nursing assignment and was hoping it would be decent like the other one in Downto
