城壁内の南東の角にある新しい(2025年10月現在)アパートメントです。 我々は1階(日本式2階)のキッチン付きシービューの部屋に泊まりましたが、城壁自体が高い位置にあるので、南側のリビングの窓からは海が綺麗に見えました。反対の北側の寝室の窓からは大聖堂が良い角度で見えます。 部屋はリビングダイニングキッチンの部屋と寝室が分かれており、とても広くて清潔に保たれていました。キッチンの設備は食器洗浄機、冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、湯沸かしポットなどどれも最新の物でした。食器や調理器具などの備品類も十分でした。エアコンは各部屋にあり(2台)、それとは別に床暖房がありました。10月下旬でしたが、夜は冷え込むため、大変ありがたかったです。 アパートの入口も部屋の入口も電子キーでチェックイン時にコードを教えてもらう仕組みでキーをなくす心配も無く便利です。旧市街には珍しく、建物にはエレベーターがあり、高層階(5階までありました)の部屋でも安心です。 ただし、城壁の門からアパートまでの移動は階段のある場所が何箇所かあり、大きなスーツケースなどの重い荷物を運ぶのは結構大変です。 アパートまでは地図のみでは道順が分かりにくいです(絶対迷います)が、チェックイン前にオーナーが動画で経路を教えてくれました。南側の青銅の門から入るのが近くて分かりやすく、夜暗くなってからの到着でしたが、動画の通りに移動したおかげで、迷わずにたどり着けました。 浴室はシャワーのみです。調理や食器洗浄などでお湯を沢山使うと、お湯が出なくなることがあります。我々は2人で泊まりましたが、家族連れなどは注意した方が良いかもしれません。 城壁内なので、主な観光地はもちろんのこと、長距離バスターミナル、フェリーターミナルなどは全て徒歩圏内です。城壁内に大きなスーパーマーケットはありませんが、西側の鉄の門を出た広場のすぐ近く(徒歩5分くらい)に、何でもそろうスーパー(SPAR)があり、水やビール、お酒なども安価で購入できます。調理済みの惣菜もありました。アパートで何か調理する際の食材も調達できます。 チェックイン時はオーナーが迎えてくれ、部屋の案内や街の情報などを教えてくれます。その際に予約時に知らされている市税city taxや施設利用料などを徴収されますが、支払いは現金のみなので、準備が必要です。一度部屋のキーコードが分からなくなった際に、オーナーは速やかに対応してくれました。 全体として、とても快適な滞在になりました。スプリトの旧市街の雰囲気を十分味わいたい人には最適です。

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location

We stayed in the suite which has a double bedroom and a separate living room/kitchen. It has fabulous views over the harbour on one side and the old town on the other. It has been beautifully renovated. You do need to bear in mind that there is no reception so be sure to let them know when you are expecting to arrive. They send you a video to show you how to navigate the maze of steps and alleyways on the old town which is easy to follow. The kitchen is well appointed although some kitchen roll would have been useful. The windows provide really great sound insulation from the church bells but we could hear people in the room above and to the side. Our only issue was that there wasn’t enough hot water for 2 consecutive showers.

The location to the marina and castle was fantastic. In fact the unit was inside the castle walls. The down side was this is not an actual hotel, there is no front desk, no bellman, and it's kind of a maze to get to the unit. It's through the castle doors, up some stairs, around a corner, up a lot more stairs to a platform, to the right, a few more stairs, around a corner, over a plywood walkway til you are finally there. Luckily a man came to show us the way and carried our suitcases. Someone was supposed to show up at checkout to help us with the suitcases but they never came, so we got help from strangers. The unit was nice, very clean, very comfortable, and once you exited the maze everything you could possibly want was there...the restaurants, shopping, buses, boats, the marina, gelato everywhere. You could pop around every corner to something new. If you have mobility issues or just don't like to lug your heavy suitcases around, pick something else. If you like a 24 hour from desk, also pick something else. It worked out for us, but a hotel with breakfast would have been good too :)

right in the middle of old town and place, busy, loud, no parking options. I don't know why they supply a coffee maker when there is no coffee supply. I suppose they want the guest to bring their own coffee.

host was very helpful and met us at taxi drop off area to show us how to get to property. He had sent a video for us, but we were a little confused so it was very nice of him to meet us! The room was beautiful and clean! Beautiful sea view from 2 windows that open. Bed was very comfortable, AC worked great, and room was quiet. Location was perfect and close to everything! Would definitely stay there again for next trip to Split!

The property has been professionally renovated that has the amenities and comfort of a luxury hotel, and much more. The kitchen was well supplied, and I loved the murals of old Split on the wall.

I LOVED this apartment. It is beautifully updated- looks straignt from HGTV! The kitchen was modern, the floors were gorgeous, and the stone wall/exposed beams in the ceiling made it look so authentic to the area. Only one caution is that you have to go up LOTS of stairs to get to the apt and the area feels a bit scary but is fine once you get in the building. Bed is very firm. Highly recommend. So convenient.

Great property that I will hopefully get to stay again one day. Really good location and walkable to everything in central Split. The room was really nice and the hotel team were so helpful and friendly. Great communication and even sent through recommendations for Split. Highly recommend to stay here if you can.

Stayed 2 nights in Split. Our host, Toma, was extremely communicative. If you book through Expedia, be sure to send a message when you expect to arrive because our host had to meet us to let us in and show us around. We were walked through the property, given a tour of the room, AND Toma provided a list of recommendations for nearby attractions within walking distance, restaurants, and gave us a little bit of history about the building and its surroundings. The rooms were newly renovated, comfortable bedding, came with a mini fridge and a nespresso machine with a variety of glassware (in case you feel like enjoying wine), a blow dryer and a steamer that worked like a charm. Oh and the bathroom had the BEST walk-in rain shower. Loved this place - would come again - highly recommend! Can’t thank Toma enough for being an amazing host :)

The location was in within the walls of the old town palace. The rooms were very clean and modern. We could walk easily to excellent restaurants within minutes. We did have a problem gaining access to the prpperty in the there was no on-sight staff. And we had to enlist the help of a shop owner to call the property manager to come get us to take us to the facility and give us keys, etc. It would help to have information provided a day prior to our stay - such as access codes and directions for how to find the facility.

Our stay at this apartment was fantastic. The building is currently being renovated in the stairway but the room was beautiful! The location is perfect inside the walls of the palace, close to everything including shops, restaurants and bars. The only downfall we found was the lift wasnt working but im sure this will be part of the renovations. The host was more than happy to assist with our bags and communication was clear and simple through Whatsapp. Highly recommend anyone going to Split to stay here! We definitely will if we ever get the opportunity!

We were pleasantly surprised this beautiful apartment is exactly as advertised with stunning views and inside the Palace walls! Toma met us there for check in, he helped with luggage and our questions. Just used what’s app for easy communication. Highly recommend this beautiful apartment!

The location of the property could not have been better. Even though it is a extremely busy area, the sound proofing in the windows makes for a quiet stay. My one and only complaint is that for this price they should have had separate shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. They had one bottle of soap in the shower to wash everything and no conditioner!
