"We loved this little oasis. The owners have done an amazing job of creating a special place that has everything you need. We were driving from Taupo to Napier and stopped for the night. They have lawn tennis, a full spa, swimming pool and an amazing restaurant not to be missed. Don’t bother going back into Napier for dinner. Stay here. They have an incredible wine selection and it’s been one of the highlights of the trip so far. "

Staff at Porters are always a highlight - going out of their way to help and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The surroundjng area is loaded with dining options and is a short drive to surrounding cellar doors and scenic spots that Hawke's Bay has to offer. We will be back for our third stay in April 2026!"

"Our deluxe room was just like pictures!! Nice and clean, had a few flies and they did stick around. Also ants got into our popcorn we got from the Sunday market, even tho it was tied up!! Playground was a 10/10 from the kids!! So close to splash planet. Love how the place had plate recognition, so it was easy to come and go. "
