I booked the duplex with a perfect view of the Speyer Christmas and New Year's Market on main street. Gästehaus Maximilian is the PERFECT spot if you are looking for an authentic small town Germany experience. Just make sure to clearly communicate any special circumstances or requests, if you book in advance. Highly recommended.

extrem laut, da im erdgeschoss an einer strasse. kein zimmerwechsel moeglich, obwohl andere zimmer verfuegbar waren. sehr unfreundlicher kontakt vor ort bei beschwerde.

Clean, modern and close to the action. Nice cafe downstairs. Grocery store across the street. Walking distance to sight seeing destinations. No shampoo or shower gel provided 2 flights stairs to get to room

Anreise mit Gepäck wegen der fehlenden Parkplätze etwas unkomfortabel. Dafür zentrale Lage. Ein/Auschecken findet im Café statt. Wenn viel los ist und das Personal gestresst, ist das nicht optimal. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer war ok. Eine Grundreinigung der verschmierten Glasflächen etc. könnte nicht schaden.
