Best stay we had on our trip! This lodge is a dream, right next to fort William, super comfortable and with everything you need to cook, chill and be happy haha Literally wake up to the sound of the river, looking at the trees. I liked everything about this place :)

Quiet, comfortable, overall great stay

I really enjoyed staying here. I'm a very light sleeper and LOVED the quiet. The surroundings are peaceful, bed is comfy, living area is huge, parking is easy. Having a kitchenette is a big help. Laundry was a bit expensive but great to have access to. There's not a ton to eat or do within walking distance but enough to get by for a couple days, and it's great to be near Fort William without being in the middle of it. The bedroom was a bit of a tight squeeze (couldn't open door fully) but this was not a problem for me. The WiFi was unstable one day for a work video call but otherwise was great. Overall it was a fantastic stay and I'd definitely come back.

Wonderful, quiet retreat!

My wife and I stayed at Burnbank Lodges for several days, to celebrate ourv25th anniversary. Campbell and Nina are welcoming, wonderful hosts. Their communication was excellent, and the property has lots of thoughtful touches. We loved the sound of the river outside and the peaceful location. If you like being off the beaten path a bit, Burnbank is a great option. Fort William is about 15 minutes away, which provides you with plenty of opportunities for a meal out. You can try a different place every night for several days and not run out of new things to try. We left with memories we’ll have forever. Burnbank is a friendly, quiet, relaxing retreat!

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at Burnbank Lodge. We stayed for 2 nights in Lodge 7 and found it to be very clean and well appointed, only thing we found missing was kitchen roll in the kitchen, but otherwise a very well appointed and equipped lodge, in a lovely setting, close to the river. Despite the rather wet weather during our stay, our lodge was warm and comfortable and we were able to get a good nights rest. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming whenever we interacted with them. The property is located right on the edge of Spean Bridge village, so a short walk into the village centre, or about a 10-15 minute drive into Fort William, for a larger selection of amenities and activities.
