Room was dingy old and dirty (from age) Floor of the bathroom was all cracked with sharp shards of grout. And very dirty. Shower curtain was held up by pressure rod that fell on the floor as I was showering. Shower curtain had, what I can only assume was snot, on the inside. Noticed it before it fell on the floor. Kids (sounded like 3or4) screaming in room across the hall which drove the dog down the hall nuts so it barked nonstop while the kids were screaming. Please put pets and kids in one area of the hotel and single business travellers in a different part. Staff at front desk was very nice.

The service desk associates Kaleb and Bill (or Bob sorry not sure) were very nice and extremely helpful. Also there was a young possibly Hispanic female associate that was at the dinner on Wednesday 2/14 and at the desk and at breakfastThursday morning 2/15 who was very pleasant as well. I apologize that I didn't get her name. I still wanted to mention her due to her great service and how kind she was to my children. There was also a housekeeping woman that came to our room and brought extra linens to us. She was also quite nice. We really enjoyed the dinner Wednesday evening and the breakfast each day. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The amenities were nice as well. I am an avid reviewer on Google with more than 25k views. I will be including this in my posts. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable. I will be staying here again.

All-around great place to stay
This hotel is clean; the staff members are friendly and efficient; and it has all the amenities I seek, including but certainly not limited to ample parking and well-lit parking lot and hallways. The location just off the higway is convenient.

The hotel is beautiful. The breakfast was cold every morning. The day of departure the cleaning staff was at my room way before checkout. I had arranged a late checkout and was okayed the day of arrival but the day of checkout the morning staff was very rude and said there is no late checkout. I told her someone should have told the staff on 1/11/24.

Twins enjoyed the pool. The only negative thing I can say ( & its really not negative) the kitchen floor which we walked in on was extremely slippery. One twin was able to stop her fall but unfortunately I was not. I fell and hurt my knee pretty bad. I did call front desk & notified them. So maybe a little rug would help.

Mostly good
Pros: The staff was very personable, efficient and professional. It was a good, safe, quiet location that’s very convenient to lots of stores, restaurants, etc. The 1 bedroom suite is very spacious and the kitchen is pretty well equipped. Cons: I’m not happy about finding 6 pieces of hair in the beds & bathroom though! 3 pieces on the pillows of the 2 beds and 3 in the bathroom. I’m a bit of a germaphobe and clean freak, so that set me off a little, but luckily the bathroom and bedding looked clean otherwise or I would’ve complained and asked for a different room.

Wonderful stay
Stayed one night in handicapped accessible 2 br 2 bath suite. The young man at check in was extremely pleasant, welcoming and informative. He directed us as to where to park for closest access to our room. The hotel location was right off the highway with plenty of food and shops around. We were meeting our daughter and grandchildren to exchange holiday gifts. We didn't realize our granddaughter's gift needed batteries. When I went to front desk to see if they had any available for purchase, they sent a fellow from maintenance to our room- he not only provided us complimentary new batteries, he went and found a small phillips head screwdriver which was needed to open the battery chamber and then installed them for us. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and had a good selection. The seating area was well appointed. Room was well equipped to handle 3 adults and 3 smaller children. Accessible bathroom was spacious and accommodated wheelchair perfectly. Room was clean and living area attractive. Indoor pool was fun for kids. Would definitely go back and highly recommend this property.

Nice Hotel but Thin Floors!
Overall, our experience was pleasant enough. First the good: The hotel was quaint and inviting with a cozy lobby area with a fireplace and open eating space behind it. Complimentary breakfast was provided on Saturday and Sunday and the spread was actually quite impressive (eggs, french toast, hash browns, bagels, muffins, cereal, coffee, juice and more). The indoor pool, while not large, seemed like a go-to spot for most of the guests. There is a small gym, an outdoor firepit area and a half court basketball court. Certainly enough to do for a weekend. It's fairly centrally located near shopping and food. Since there is no restaurant - just a snack nook - this was important. The room itself (1 bedroom suite) was not big by any means, but pleasant enough for a family of four. The kitchen was a very nice touch (microwave, full fridge/freezer, sink and stove). The bad: The floors are extremely thin - we heard almost every footstep above us. Normally not an issue during the day when there is ample noise in your own room to drown it out, but the guests above us were stomping and running around until 2:30am. Despite multiple calls to the front desk who assured us it would be handled, the stampede continued unabated for hours. Takeaway: If you have discourteous guests who are unaware of how much noise they are creating for the lower floor guests, I do not recommend this hotel. But if you are lucky enough to not have that occurrence, the hotel is otherwise quite nice.

We really appreciated that the room was comfortable and spacious. It had an ample sized sitting area and a small but adequate kitchen. The breakfast was tasty and it had a good selection of eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, various breads, coffee and juices. We also liked the convenience store for snacks. The front staff was excellent and the general area was well maintained. The only thing that could be improved was the smoke detector light blinking all night.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff and service were amazing. My only complaint is that the pool wasn't working once we decided to go. Other than that, great place to stay and minutes from lake compounce.

If it weren’t for the excellent staff I would rate the property, basically the facility poor. I really can’t praise the staff friendliness and customer service high enough from the house keeping staff to the front desk staff. No matter what we ask for or needed they were on top of it! Now for the facilities. The furniture in the rooms is still there from the seventies. The furniture is run down with nicks and stains. We put sheets on the living room furniture so we would feel comfortable sitting on it. I guess the Hiltons are low on money these days :) but I would recommend an overhaul on decor. Again we didn’t have the heart to complain because the staff were excellent.
