"Hotel Matterhorn Inn was a great stay and made visiting Zermatt very easy. The onsite parking was a huge plus, especially since we were traveling by car, and the location near the train station was extremely convenient. The hotel staff were helpful, and both check-in and check-out were simple and stress-free. I would gladly stay here again and would definitely recommend it to other travelers visiting the area."

"Super séjour, assez incroyable pour une aire de service. Chambre avec terrasse en granit sur la prairie au bord du fleuve, coté opposé à l’autoroute. Aucun bruit sinon les oiseaux. Vélos électriques en location pour se rendre en ville et visiter les alentours. Accès privé si besoin, sans repasser par l’autoroute. Excellent dîner et déjeuner buffet."

"The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the main station. It’s clean, offers minimal amenities, and has a great breakfast. Unfortunately, my stay ended on a very negative note. On my last night, I was locked out of my room after reception had closed. There was no visible emergency contact at the front desk, and if one exists, it certainly wasn’t made clear. "I was greeted warmly at the front desk and advised that I had received a room upgrade! Our room was clean and spacious with a fridge and a small balcony. The bed was very comfortable too. Self-parking was easy with access to the hotel via a lift. We were centrally located in Locarno and close to the waterfront walkway which made for a pleasant evening walk. We were offered a 10% off coupon for breakfast but did not end up using it. Friendly hotel - we would definitely stay there again!"

"A lovely hotel all round with friendly helpful staff. They kept our bags after check out so we could explore Chur for a few hours. Breakfast was superb. The bed was a bit soft for me but that's just personal preference. Great central location."

"This is a beautiful historic hotel. It almost felt like we were in a movie, it has a real old world feel. Located right across from the waterfront, walking distance to everything you want to visit. The staff was outstanding. The hotel was spotless. Smaller rooms although we didn't splurge for an executive suite but I give this a pass because of the age of the hotel but the architecture and finishes are beautiful!"

"Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen, oberhalb der Stadt Locarno, an einem Hang mit toller Aussicht. Besonders positiv ist, dass man das Stadtzentrum in etwa fünf Minuten zu Fuss erreichen kann, was sehr praktisch ist. Auch der Spabereich sowie die Gartencafés sind sehr hübsch. Einzig ein kleines Gym. Einziger wirklicher Minuspunkt ist jedoch der Rückweg: Vom Zentrum zurück ins Hotel muss man einen ziemlich steilen Aufstieg in Kauf nehmen, was je nach Kondition etwas anstrengend sein kann....

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Alpine. The hotel is nicely decorated, in Swiss themes, very warm and classy decor. Room was very clean, shower was amazing, and plenty of heating in the room if needed. Breakfast was excellent, with variety and great coffee. Overall service was very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant. Easy access to the hotel, public transport stops in front in both directions.
