"It was hard to leave Hideaway! I had a few hickups and staff were very responsive. One was an airconditioner that broke down, the staff quickly moved me to another similar seaside bure. The other was on my second visit when I had left an major electronic device behind in my hotel in Suva. Staff at Hideaway jumped in to contact the hotel in Suva, ensure the item would be transferred to Hideaway the same day. That was a huge relief. all in all, I would recommend Hideaway and I would stay there...

"We had no hot water during our stay. The staff had no idea what was happening. They kept lying to us that we will get hot water soon. Breakfast was terrible. No choices."

The unit was exceptionally clean, fully stocked and I appreciate being able to cook myself- although there are a few restaurants and grocery store within 10min walk. "A true immersion in Fijian culture, and a lovely island resort. Definitely not 5* but well looked after. The staff was very friendly, always enjoying what they were doing. On the negative, the snorkel is negligible. No coral at all, just a few fish."
