"Beqa Lagoon Resort was an absolutely phenomenal experience for us. The location is beautiful and relaxing, the prepaid meal plan (3 meals a day) is delicious, and all the activities the resort put on are fun and engaging. The diving was enjoyable, but the highlight was definitely the shark dives. The dive team are well informed and are able to provide good insight into the nearby shark population and their place in the ecosystem. "This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in - avoid it like the plague. The roof in my room leaked resulting in a pool of water on the floor whenever it rained. The windows did not fit properly and did not close, which together with the gaps between the tops of the walls and the roof resulted in constant wind noise and drafts. I have never seen such a shoddily built room. There is nothing authentic about it. I stayed in four other hotels during this trip to Fiji, all of which were considerably...

"All the staff were wonderful. Our second time there and they remembered our names and couldn’t have looked after us any better. The Kids Club staff were brilliant (shout out to Isi and Tash) who cared for and loved our grandchildren each time they went. One of our grandchildren had their birthday while we were there and they made it so special for her, even organising a cake. Friendly and genuine. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Sigatoka is a 20 minute bus trip (for all of $2!) to get supplies and visit the market to grab all the fresh fruit you want. You won’t be disappointed. We’ll be back. "
