Every single member of the staff, without exception, was incredibly friendly, caring, and genuinely focused on making sure I had the best possible experience. "There was a bit of confusion on check in as they have two lobby’s and one accomodation section on the marina and another facing to pool area. We went to one but we were staying in the other. I was unwell and just wanted to go to the room but we were kept waiting some time and then eventually walked down to the other lobby and as we went I was told we had a room upgrade and we were in a premium room now and got given the key to that room…and then we got to the other lobby and they took that key...

"Massively disappointed. We booked & paid for a private plunge pool bure and arrived at the hotel to find we had a been allocated a beach front bure. The hotel did nothing to compensate or reimburse the difference in cost. Look at the bad reviews on most booking platforms, it seems to have happened regularly at Tambua Sands."
