"First time in Louisville and was recommended to stay at the GALT House. The property was beautiful. I wish I had a better view of the river, but it was a good view since I booked one day before. Wish the bed wasn’t so firm but that was personal preference. Check-in was easy. The Lobby was gorgeous. I loved all the restaurants and lots of things to do within walking distance. Will have to come back again."

"The kitchenette was amazing and staff was very friendly. We had trouble sleeping due to some arguing close by and could hear a lot from the hallway and the surrounding rooms. The breakfast also wasn’t set up when we went down even though the sign said it was supposed to be open. Overall enjoyed our stay"

"Great place to stay and get away. Close to Madison and was a central meeting place for me and my friends for a weekend away. Service was wonderful and friendly and helped us with a key card that didnt work. Note to those who stay, the faucet to get the shower to run is under the tub spiget. Took me a minute to figure out you have to pull the actual mouth of the spiget for it to run."

"The front desk clerk was extremely professional and yet very friendly. I am recovering from an intense surgery to my right hand and arm. He was so kind to help me lift the heavy items out of my vehicle. He refused the tip I offered but I insisted! The room is clean and comfortable. My only complaint is the awful Dove hygiene products. Please consider using something that isn't full of perfumes and chemicals. "
