"The inn was wonderful in every way. The only problem I did not forsee is that the bridge crossing the Mississippi river was out of commission for two months. That made us take a very long trip down to Keokuk to cross the river with the very high price of gasoline."

"It was a surprise to find out after already making meal plates that one cannot take breakfast out of the dining room, even if one's spouse drove into the early AM hours and would have slept right thru breakfast.... Jacuzzi tub was nice. Beds were a bit on the hard side but otherwise the room was good. Clean and kwpt.up for the most part. A door might not shut all the way or the security jasp might not have worked, but the room was well, priced for the value."
