Chesford Grange Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful entrance, bar and terrace. All extensions sympathetically mirroring the original house with modern facilities. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Comfy beds! The air conditioning was noisy but you could turn it off. Staff all very helpful. Overall a very good choice for a two night stay nearby local attractions."

"The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone visiting the Royal Shakespeare theatre, or wanting to visit Stratford upon Avon. Located just by the river, it is walking distance to the town and it is a beautiful walk. The staff are brilliant and even when there was a small issue with our room, it was sorted out immediately. We've stayed here multiple times for the theatre and will stay again."

"Interesting idea that in a effort to save the planet's resources, there is a option at this hotel to minimise waste by avoiding the cleaning! But I expected that the bed would be made. Stayed at this hotel many times; it's really close to the airport but no problems with aircraft sound"

"We wanted to take a relaxing break away for a night and enjoy the spa facilities of this hotel, booked after seeing the photos online. The hotel has beautiful grounds, check in was quick and we were upgraded to a deluxe room which was nice and clean, no air con just a fan in the room, the hotel needs TLC in most areas, it is a maze and we struggled to find our way around it. We went out for dinner as the hotel was hosting a wedding and was very busy. The spa was not the best, difficult to relax with kids running around, the pool area is very small and steam and sauna rooms were busy too. The gym was fine, fully equipped. Breakfast was standard nothing amazing. I think for the price paid it was satisfactory but if you want to have a relaxing weekend then couldn’t recommend it."
