"I left my heart in Talalla Retreat. Incredible staff who were so welcoming and hard working, the Retreat itself is stunning. I had an upstairs bedroom so was able to fully enjoy the surroundings. "This hotel is chef's kiss. The pool and poolside are brilliantly thought out and massive so you can have a peaceful dip even if it's busy (I went out of season). My riverside room was the perfect way to start every day and the food, even the Western food, is really good. The service is unrivalled, it surpassed my expectations. "We stayed for 2 nights, and we both thought that the food and the public areas were amazing. We also booked the yoga classes which were great. The bungalows are very cool, they are open, so you get a pretty unique experience. The beds are a bit on the hard side, this should be improved."
