"We thoroughly enjoyed are ent stay at the Bright Angel Lodge on the South Rim. We reserved a rim view room which was yards away from the rim with parking close by. All staff were welcoming and attentive during our stay. Breakfast and evening meal in the bar/restaurant was excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate in staying again. If you are able to then pay the small additional cost to stay in a rim view Queen room."

"Close to the canyon edge Hard to find parking"

"The power company had turned all electricity in the area off for 24 hours. Although they had been forewarned, the girl had not made any preparations. As we arrived they were placing glo sticks in the hallways. No battery operated lanterns or flashlights were given to us and no food was available. A food truck was outside the hotel but they too were I’ll prepared and ran out of most food within the hour. A discount was not offered and they were not helpful in helping us navigate this...

"Such a wonderful place to be that its hard to criticize. For $300 a night, our tv was snowy and it couldn't be completely fixed. Of course we're not there for tv."

"We loved our stay and the amenities were excellent. We even got to see an elk walking across the parking lot from our hotel room. It was very convenient to the park and easy access. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of the pillows. That seems petty, but the pillows were too soft and dnot at all supportive my. I was very uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well. I woke up with a stiff neck and a headache. Otherwise it was a most wonderful experience. I would stay here...

"It’s tent camping in a beautiful desert location and the staff is very friendly. The other campers don’t respect quiet hours and were up before dawn revving engines, slamming car doors and talking loudly, so be prepared to wake up early."

"There were mustard stains all over the bottom walls, there was a ketchup stain on the railing of the stairs, there was a hair literally stuck on the bathroom counter with something sticky, and there were poop stains on the toilet where you sit down on. This place was definitely not cleaned. I emailed the owner about this and never got a response. No star for this place."
