"All was great but our door key fob was expiring every day and we would go to front reception to address On our 3rd day come to find per the receptionist that the person who checked us in ran it on a day basis instead our entire stay This was a little hassle and the Management should train their employees throughly while checking in their guests. "My arrival at the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa from the airport was seamless and convenient, as the property is located just a short distance away. I arrived the evening prior to my birthday, which was the primary reason for my visit to Tahiti. After a long journey from Pennsylvania, I greatly appreciated the efficient and welcoming check-in process. The resort itself is charming, with staff who were consistently warm, pleasant, and eager to assist. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, with effective air conditioning and a decent view. Upon arrival, there was a noticeable mildew scent; however, I was able to freshen the space. The bed was slightly firm for my preference, though I still managed a restful stay. Breakfast each morning was relaxed and enjoyable. While the overall selection was fairly basic, I appreciated the made-to-order eggs…though consistency in preparation improved toward the end of my stay. I dined at several restaurants on the property, with Le Lotus being the highlight. I chose to celebrate my birthday there, and the experience was truly special, even while dining solo. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful and delicious birthday dessert delivered to my room. One area for improvement would be the bar service, as it would be nice to have more flexibility in cocktail options beyond those listed on the menu. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, with several thoughtful touches that made my birthday trip memorable."

"Paradise on earth We had an incredible stay, with truly outstanding service and staff, and an excellent breakfast buffet. We also enjoyed several activities with a Polynesian instructor, including a language lesson, flower crown making, and a coconut experience—all of which were engaging and memorable thanks to his knowledge and warm personality. The marine preservation program was another highlight, offering a unique and meaningful experience. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more special. While the overall food was good, it didn’t fully meet our expectations. For example, the pizza crust was a bit too soft rather than crisp, the tuna had a slightly fishy taste, and the chicken was a little dry. With some improvements in food quality, the dining experience could truly match the exceptional level of service. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this resort for a memorable and luxurious getaway."
