"The location, view, and staff were excellent. I chose the basic room and I realize you get what you pay for. That being said, the basic rooms need a total renovation. The bathroom was a mess with a chipped tub, rust on metal surfaces, and the grout was moldy and cracked. The bedroom walls looked like the wood was ripped from a tear down and slapped up I have never stayed in a motel 6, but I am sure their rooms are in better shape."

"The motel probably doesn't deserve a five star rating, but it was totally adequate for a one night stay. It is located right on US 101, so easy on and off. It has a large fridge (for a motel), and a large shower. No continental breakfast, but right across the street from Taco Bell, other restaurants nearby. It had a single bed in the room, so convenient if traveling with a child. If traveling through Coos Bay again I would definitely stay there. The cost was low for a Labor Day weekend."
