"The staff at the hotel are lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We booked a junior suite and yes the room is large and had some welcome snacks for us on arrival the bathroom area was tired. There was one dressing gown and other small bits that let the hotel down. We had an awful trouble with the hotel arranging a transfer from the airport with persistent messages tbat it must be paid up front in to their bank. It all just became stressful and we felt like crimials over a £7 taxi ride. "
"Good value. Really nice breakfast restaurant staff with varied, healthy, tasty food and good restaurant ambiance. Better than average gym for a hotel of this level. Hotel is down a long, narrow alley and can be hard to find as well as unpleasant to walk to. Things that can be improved: 1) Kettle in room should be metal, not cancer-causing plastic; 2) bathrooms need hand soap and smaller towels; 3) rooms need pots and pans for cooking with the in-room range; 4) better signage to help people...
"This was my 2nd stay at the Veranda. I enjoy it's location and convenience to all the activities I participated in during my stay. The staff is super friendly and professional. There was some painting and renovation work on the 2nd floor that had fumes from the paint. The breakfast buffet is by far the best I have experienced in any hotel I have ever stayed. "

"Luxury in the heart of the Jakarta financial district. You will feel you are in your own condo more than a hotel. Rooms are large, comfortable and quiet. The property is conveniently located with sweeping views. Plenty of restaurants in the building as well as in the surrounding neighborhood. The staff is very helpful and attentive, especially Venney at the concierge who assisted us on our departure. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay in Jakarta"
