"This is a great place to stay if you want to check out the island and not be couped up. You can walk to the beach, you are centrally located to everywhere on the island. Great views! But the best part is that the owner (who was born on the island) will show you around the island and take you anywhere you want to go. He checks on you every day without being intrusive. You should really consider Friendship Garden Apartments if this is your first stay or if you are returning to the island. I recommend it for everyone!"

"Absolutely LOVE this place and will definitely be back! Let me start off by saying that the staff are absolutely fantastic! By the end of my stay, I felt like I was staying with family. The ladies in the office were extremely friendly and pleasant. Checking in and out was simple and quick. The ladies were always quick to answer any questions and assist with taxi service or trips. Extremely welcoming 🙏 They have housekeeping once a day. The housekeeping did an amazing job and went above and beyond 👏 I actually had great conversations with them and they made me feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast is included which is usually coffee, tea and an assortment of breads. The woman in charge of breakfast was also very friendly. There is a small pool which was very refreshing. A short 5-10 min stroll to the beach, which I pretty much had to myself! A short stroll down the beach is The SandBar. A beach bar that has swings and obviously drinks & food. Lorincia is a fabulous bartender there, she'll make you feel like family! A total of 8 units, so a nice uncrowded atmosphere. Stove, refrigerator, table and chairs for self catering. Beach towels and beach chairs were provided. Air conditioning in the sleeping area. I never used the ac as the breeze was perfect at night with the shutters open. Mosquito netting provided (mosquitos actually weren't bad). Hot showers! If you have mobility issues you may want to know that this property is located on a hill and there are steps involved. "

"We went there for the snorkeling and stayed for the people. It was so amazing! The rooms were great, the people were so kind and accommodating, and property is incredible! The food was great! There was a menu of similar food every meal, but then there was the daily menu change. It was perfect for my significant other who stuck with the same meal, while I like to change things up. The staff is so amazing. I cannot say enough good things about them whether is was checking in our our room, during dining, dancing and joking, or excursions. They are kind and take the time for you. To share one of many examples, security (Austin) came up to us after snorkeling just to ask what we saw. They were all engaging. There is so much history, scenic views, and wildlife on the island to around the island. you can find tortoises, iguanas, hermit crabs, and so much more before you even walk into the water. The island is quiet and secluded and that is why you go. It can be difficult getting there and returning (recommend and overnight in Barbados on either end of your trip), but the quietness, nature, and exemplary staff is unparalleled. As for the other guests, we always came together for dinner to talk about our days and share our stories of the octopus or squid we saw that day. It was almost a community of guests which was very refreshing since there were so few of us. Can actually have conversations and build relationships of people around you. Highly recommended."
