"Right in the action on Republic. Old school classy hotel that was nevertheless very comfortable thanks to the friendly staff especially Maria. Amazing bed & luxurious towels. Loved the third floor terrace & the tiny gym with a well. Just be aware the hotel is right next to the opera which can be noisy until about 11 pm if there’s a performance and a few nights of rehearsal leading up to it. May help if the windows were double or triple paned."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel & property was grand, serene, spotless and very well maintained. The staff were all so professional and helpful. The location was awesome and so close to everything! We thoroughly enjoyed the relax time by the infinity pool with an incredible view of the marina. The staff at the pool were so friendly and attentive. Wonderful dinner and service at the award winning Beef Bar too. We would definitely recommend this wonderful hotel!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All staff were professional, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent a good choice and of a high standard. We also had a very unexpected surprise when we came back to find balloons, birthday card and 2 glasses of prosecco in our room to celebrate my birthday all organised by the hotel, a very lovely and unexpected touch.
