"Elevator not running, long wait for the functional one. The hotel staff was a mixed bag. One gentleman very kind and helpful behind the desk, his female peer was mad at the world! We were taking a cruise and stayed here because we would be parking here due to the cruise terminal, not being finished. I think the staff was upset about so many people. "Front desk Staff didn’t even smile and no greeting nor enthusiasm. Just felt like doing their duty. Quoted crazy price hike, 3x the price when we asked for a nights stay. The highlight is the location of the Inn."

"Best part of this hotel is the staff (shout out to T and Sam!!!) and the cleanliness of the facilities. Rooms are so comfy and great layout. Bummer is that I REALLY need decent coffee at my hotels, and this place had no consumable caffeinated coffee onsite!! The in-room coffee maker only had decaf pods (the entire hotel was out -- shout out to the front desk woman who found me one regular pod) and the brew at breakfast was coffee flavored water. "Parking is luck of the draw. Be prepared to parallel park or for a nice walk. Staff was amazing, good conversation and immediately attentive to glue together something of mine that broke in transit. Would stay again!"

"Called the hotel to verify pet friendly etc. We were told 3 dogs under 37lbs were OK. We arrived with one 18lb service/medical alert dog and 2 under 15lbs pets. We were not told about non refundable pet fee and 2 dog minimum. Desk staff contacted manager and they canceled our reservation. I understand the policy but I specifically called to verify. This was our second bad experience with LaQuinta and there will NOT be a third."

"The room was spacious. Served our needs. They're working on modernizing. Room had some of that but needed more light. Hallway carpet needs replacing as smelled heavily of cigar. Was worth what we spent to get off the road for the evening and gentleman at the desk was friendly."
