"Excellent location and nice staff but the lodge itself fell short. It’s not an eco lodge more a shabby-chic hotel in the desert. There is ZERO internet or cell access so be aware. One thing that was really annoying was the loud music late into evening, as if every guest wants that!? It basically doesn’t know what it wants to be, no credibility as a peaceful eco retreat and not lux enough for a longer stay. Worth a night or two as the location is amazing but not more than that."

When you get there, they will try to upsell you on camel rides or dinner. Make sure to agree on the dinner price because you might be stuck once you get to camp. The tents are very nice with comfortable beds, hot showers and a flushing toilet. The dining tent is heated. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Just make sure to negotiate prices...
