"The hotel is nice and most people at the reception, restaurant and housekeepers are very polite and helpful. However I have also experienced that things asked would not be done even though promised to be fixed, for example filling empty body lotion bottle. I’ve been staying at this hotel over some years. "I only had 24 hours in Bergen as a stop on my trip, so valued proximity to the things I wanted to see. This hotel was exactly what I needed! It was a short walk from the market, fløibanen, shopping, and general sites in Bergen I wanted to explore. I was able to take a bus to/from the airport, but otherwise could walk to anything else I was interested in from the hotel. I was a little nervous about leaving my luggage in the closet since staff gave an access card for guests to manage it themselves, but I quickly learned there's a different level of trust in the Nordic countries that I wasn't used to. The room was clean, had a fan (great bonus in summer!), was quiet, and had anything I needed. The design was fun, but the decor did give me a bit of a visual headache (which I am prone to). That was the only downside, though. The breakfast was lovely and had a great variety as a send off in the morning. I appreciated my stay here and the convenience of its location for sure!"
