"We booked a long-term stay for December 2025 through January 2026 for our wedding, honeymoon, and winter break. On December 30, 2025, housekeeping entered our cottage and left the door open. Our dog escaped during this time. We were not notified for approximately two hours. The property owner did not contact us directly or provide an incident report. Our dog, Pax, has been missing since that date. As of writing this review, it has been 34 days. The property also had multiple maintenance issues...

"Loekie is the best hostess. So warm and helpfull. Don't mis the home made breakfast, made fresh every morning. We loved the tranquillety at the landhuis and the beautiful sunsets. You feel at home. "

"Has been the worst ever tried hotel. They claim to clean the room every 2 days , we had three rooms as it was a family trip and 2 out of the 3 room were supposedly cleaned at day 4 after almost begging daily and no changes on towels , no changes on sheets …when we arrived at middle afternoon we had to demand for the rooms to be properly cleaned. Our own room in 5 nights was cleaned once and the hot water only worked on night 1 … all other nights we had to have cold showers "

"Staff was unaccommodating. The Staff acted as though they had better things to do than serive the patrons. Regardless of the request weather it was bottle water for the room, clean towels, or just plain toilet tissue it was at least a three to four hour wait if the request was fulfilled at all. For example requested a chicken club sandwich at midnight and did not receive it till almost 4am and thats after I had to personally come down and find a staff member working the kitchen.
