"UPON CHECKING IN I KNEW SOMETHING WASN'T RIGHT. THE LOBBY WAS FULL OF LOUD CHILDREN AND CONCERNED PARENTS HAVING A BIRTHDAY PARTY. THERE WAS A LADY AT THE CHECK-IN WEARING A TANK TOP LIKE SHIRT LATER TO FIND SHE WAS HEAD OF HOUSE KEEPING FILLING IN FOR THE RECEPTIONIST WHO HAD TO LEAVE. AFTER CHECKING INTO OUR ROOM WE FOUND OUT OUR TV WASN'T WORKING IN ROOM 309 AND THERE WERE A LOT OF MAINTENCE ISSUES LOOKING AROUND THE ROOM. AFTER CALLING THE FRONT DESK YOUR HEAD OF HOUSE KEEPING CAME UP AND TRIED TO GET OUR TV WORKING. AFTER CALLING HER BOSS AND TALKING TO HIS WIFE WE DECIDED TO SWITCH ROOMS. WE WERE EXHAUSTED FROM DRIVING AND THOUGHT WE GO TO THE POOL TO FIND OUT THE BIRTHDAY PARTY WAS USING THE POOL. AS WE TRIED TO FIGURE OUT SOMETHING ESLE TO DO WE CALLED HOUSE KEEPING FOR SOME EXTRA TP, TOWELS, SOAP, AND COFFEE WE MET A STRESSED OUT OVERWORKED NEW EMPLOYEE WHO SAID THEY RECEIVED NO TRAINING AND WERE BASICALLY CLEANING THE HOTEL WHILE THE REST OF YOUR EMPLOYEES SAT AROUND EATING AND HAVING A GOOD TIME ON THE FIRST FLOOR LAUNDRY ROOM. AFTER MOVING TO 301 THE ROOM NEXT TO US STILL NEEDED CLEAN AND WAS LEFT OPEN ALL NIGHT LONG AS WELL AS THE DOOR TO THE STAIRWAY. OUR ROOM WAS MISSING A PART TO HOLD THE ARM ON OUR DOOR FOR PROTECTION SO WE PUT OUR BEER COOLER IN FRONT OF OUR DOOR. AT 8:28 PM I WAS AWAKEN TO THE HEAD HOUSE KEEPER TO VACCUMING THE ROOM NEXT DOOR AND THE HALLWAY WHICH IS ALL DOCUMENTED WITH PICTURES. YOUR HEAD OF HOUSE KEEPING IS WAY MORE HELPFUL THEN YOUR FRON"
"Photos online look better than actual room and property. Upon arrival, I requested a first floor room so my ailing husband wouldn't have to climb the stairs. I was told only a manager could change room assignments. I checked back a little later and was told the same thing by a different employee. Also at check-in, I wasn't told breakfast times or Wifi information. I looked up the breakfast times online (which was incorrect), so the next morning we arrived at 9:05 and was told breakfast was over, so no food for us. Additionally, the carpeted floor in the room had a couple sticky spots, and there were cobwebs in the bathroom. The beds were uncomfortable. All in all, a disappointing stay..."
"Very outdated. Room smelled terrible. Bedspreads were dirty. Tv hanging off wall. Receptionist made us wait 30 minutes for her break before we could check in. People sitting outside their rooms smoking pot and drinking."
"The park was beautiful but currently a couple of buildings are being refurbished so it is a little dicey. The staff was great and the cabin was very clean. We will return."
"The front desk clerk was stoned. The entire lobby and herself smelled like weed. They are understaffed and removed the minimal breakfast a half hour early. Other than that the facility was clean, safe, and convenient."
"Clean room and good breakfast with the exception of not having any fruit. Staff very nice.
Doors and floors are in need of updating in stairway and halls"
"Room was clean and comfortable. Ice machine did not work on our floor. Had to go from third floor to the first floor to get ice. Accessibility to the hotel was not simple, had to make a U-turn at a stop light. Hotel was noisy. We could hear room doors closing all night from several rooms down the hall. Traffic noise in parking lot was loud, especially the motorcycle that started up at 4:30 in the morning. We were on the third floor and would guess many rooms were awakened by the noise, even with a very loud air conditioner running. Breakfast was average and two of the three juice dispensers were not working. We did not feel the hotel met the typical standards of a Country Inn and Suites. Room was ok, but rest of experience was below par. I would not recommend this hotel."
