"Obviously a lot of effort has been made by the new owners to create a comfortable and upgraded environment. They are working hard and constantly on what was obviously a worn down building. "What a lovely place ! The staff were very welcoming and the property and rooms were just wonderful: the room was clean and spacious and well appointed. "It was cheap - you get what you pay for. Shared bathroom and kitchen, which was expected based on price and photos, but not clear in details and another guest hadn’t assumed this and caused a big scene on check in. Wasn’t dirty, but could have been cleaner. Beds were comfy, but sheets smelt damp. Air con didn’t work in our room or another room that was empty. Free parking. Walking distance of the town centre which has takeaways. Kinda average stage. But cheapest around"

"An excellent modern hotel with unbelievably helpful and friendly staff. Our room was well equipped with a comfortable bed. There was a very good breakfast. We also had a couple of dinners at the hotel restaurant. The food was expensive but very good. Portions were however a little on the small size. The hotel had plenty of parking and was an easy walk into the centre of St Daivid’s. A much longer walk would lead you down to a little sandy bay. . "
