"I stayed at the Ambient hotel in Sept 2026. It is a nice hotel, a bit old fashion but still OK. Good for the money you pay. Free breakfast, extremely helpful staff. They also offer dinner so it is up to you if you want to go out. Very comfortable bed."

"I stayed 2 days at the Hotel Lonca in Skofja Loka on business earlier this week. I arrived late on the Sunday night and Robert the Night Manager checked me in. He was polite, professional and efficient but above all so helpful on any questions I had, including the all important internet access. On the 2nd night he offered choices for dinner and then arranged for a lovely meal in the countryside, where they could pick up and get me back later. I had a lovely meal and some great wine. Overall a 10:10 on everything, but Robert was special."

"I had a one night stay at this hotel and it could not have been better. They accommodated my late arrival. My room was spacious and clean and had a nice balcony. Breakfast was amazing. Everyone at this hotel was so kind and friendly. I’m sorry I only had the one night to stay."

"I chose to stay at Hotel Dvor Jezersek Brnik because I had a 6:30 am plane and the hotel was only five minutes from the airport. I was not expecting much but the hotel was terrific. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Also the staff was very helpful. They even packed me breakfast to take with me to the airport. I had one of my best meals at the hotel restaurant. The food was very sophisticated and delicious. I wish I had been able to stay at the hotel more than one night."

"This is a quaint old hotel with a wonderful staff. The only real downside is that it has an historic designation which prevents them from installing an elevator."
