"Good hotel for area"

"This is 5th time staying at Talta and 2nd time staying in a Stuga. Even with the help of staff, we were unable to get the cabin temperature down below 84F. We slept with fans and opened the windows and by morning the temp dropped to 81F. If customers have reserved a Stuga, ideally staff check the temp or assure that it’s in a reasonable range prior check in. Your staff did everything they could to help us. People in other Stuga units were reporting the same issue as well. With summer...

"No gym on the premises and the door to our room opened and closed really hard. The heat/air conditioner was confusing from lower floor to top floor. The room was gorgeous though and the wedding we were there for was great. Super fun spacious 2-floor room. Very nice! Walking distance to a lot of places nearby too."

"Really cool hotel with character. We loved the beautiful spacious bar and hangout spaces downstairs. The staff was very positive, nice and helpful. We got to reserve the hot tub which was awesome and the pool was a great for a cool off afterwards. "Clean room. Nice easy check in. It did have a kitchen area which we didn't use, but looked well equipped. Used the hot tub which was very nice. The shower was updated and very nice in the morning. This was a nice place to stay."

"The Grey Fox Inn was very nice and had everything we needed for our stay. Our only issue involved a booking error. We accidentally checked in a day later than the dates that were originally booked. On our second day, we were informed that we did not actually have a reservation for that night. Because we booked through Expedia, the inn would not apply the unused night we had already paid for toward the additional night we needed. "We stayed for one night and had a great experience. The view was beautiful and made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely return for our next visit to Stowe!"

"We stayed on a nice that had high humidity and hot temps. We attended a graduation, so it was very late when we got to the room. We noticed the A/C was not working, we spoke to the desk person. They explained how to reset the A/C in the room. We did that and still not working. We spoke to the desk again and was told to give it a half hour or more and if it doesnt work then they would give us another room. Well by then it was almost midnight and the kids had fallen asleep. So we didnt change...

"Wir hatten die Einheit 7 (The Lounge), es war wunderschön und liebevoll vorbereitet für uns. Es war alles da, was man braucht, auch zum Kochen. DAs Haus ist an der Hauptstraße gelegen, mit Geschäften, Cafes und Restaurants. Die Geschäfte schließen um 5 pm (im Mai). In der Umgebung kann man auch viele Aktivitäten machen. Wir können das Butler House wärmstens empfehlen."
