"Located only 5 mins to the Biltmore. In the same parking lot as Texas Roadhouse. The only downfall is that it is right off the interstate. So if you are a light sleeper.. probably not the place for you. The hotel itself was very nice, clean. Beds comfy! Breakfast was ok as well."

Will consider other places due to the amount of homeless people and random non- guests hanging around the property. Staff doesn't seem to care about this when brought to their attention. Non-guests in the elevators, at the breakfast buffet, etc. Too bad! Was once a go-to property for us when visiting."

"We were pleasantly greeted and our accommodations were perfect except for one thing. The shower base was very slick. We asked for a walk in shower which we got. My husband is 82, not handicapped, but appreciates a walk in shower. Our bathroom was luxuriously large, our bedding was comfortable. Everyone was polite and helpful. Breakfast was included and very good. It varied each day with eggs, waffles, biscuits, yogurt, fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, bagels and cream cheese available. There was definitely something for everyone. Coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea and juice was plentiful. We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much, even during Hurricane Isaias."

"We stayed in the carriage house and it was my mom’s favorite part of our trip to Ashville! We had the whole house to ourselves as no other visitors had booked during this one night stay. Breakfast in the dining room was fantastic. Just what you needed. Hard boiled eggs, bagels @ cream cheese, juice, homemade granola, yogurt, coffee! All delicious. So fun to read all of the history of the Cedar Crest. We came from Northern California and knew very little about this area. This was our first night of our stay in Ashville and couldn’t have imagined a better stay."

I think that needs to be completely rethought ."
