"Parking was fine check in declined my cards was no problems with my cards after entering the room the bed was not made wet towels on the floor..after talking to front desk I was moved to another room it was clean but the bed was upside down I had to flip the mattress because it was literally sleeping on a box spring for the first night "

Most hotels do not clean rooms every day, we’ve noticed, but the Hampton Inn on George St. in Pawtucket did and it very much appreciated. Parking was decent. "Canceled my reservation an hour after check-in while I was already 2.5 hours into a 3.5 hour drive for my daughter’s Nationals competition. I booked months in advance through Expedia. They claimed they were short staffed and overbooked. The manager, was unapologetic and told me to “book somewhere else.” When I explained we were traveling with a baby and were one hour away, he threatened to hang up on me for “yelling” when I was simply upset. Another parent from our team arrived and was told the same thing. She also said the property looked rundown, smelled like cigarettes, and had panhandlers outside. Canceling reservations last minute after check-in time is completely unprofessional. The lack of accountability and customer service made it worse. Would not recommend."
