"We stayed in the castle suite which is in a separate house up the mountain. A beautiful home has been turned into several suites.In the common areas there are two dens, a full kitchen, a wet bar area, gym, and sauna. Numerous rooms have private hot tubs. We enjoyed beautiful views from every window in the Castle Suite. The room was huge and the bathroom was too. The only issues were the stairs up and down to the front door from the road. "Perfect location for our hike to Aspen.(Booked a shuttle to the trailhead.) Flew into Gunnison, took free RMTA shuttle 1/2 mile from the airport—dropped us right in the Mt.Crested Butte Transit Center. Lovely, quiet space. From there a short walk to Elevation Hotel.
